If the treatment has been carried out properly, the following results will be obtained:
Engine power increases to the level given by the manufacturer
Increased oil pressure
Decreased fuel consumption
CO and HC exhausts within the limits given by the manufacturer
   
Note
The risk of seizure and engine breakdowns is remarkably reduced in case of hazardous lubrication loss.
A third treatment may be useful for very worn engines, and this should be carried out in a way similar to the first and second treatments.

The product is applied as ordinary chain lube, but should not be used exclusively. You must take into account that this is a special product for modifying the chain joint and sprocket surfaces.

It is important that the condition of the mechanism
is properly evaluated before the treatment
     

As we already noticed on the Function page, the RVS Technology® has a unique property to form ferrosilicate (metalceramic) surface structure, the thickness of which may be up to over 1 mm. If such big clearances are detected in mechanisms, they are almost without exceptions so worn that they have to be replaced. In some cases even they can be restored.
If we are talking about an expensive or rare mechanism, it is profitable to use the RVS Technology® in all occasions.
But just as the human illnesses, the earlier one detects the "illness" of the mechanism, the easier it is to obtain the expected result, the "cure".

If one treats a new or slightly used automobile / other mechanism with the RVS Technology®, one conserves the sliding parts in their original condition. The metalceramic surface structure protects the metal underneath and multiplies the service life of the surface.

In order for metal to have two opposite properties - toughness and hardness, many different technical solutions have been developed. Normally the parts are made of soft and tough metal, the surface of which is enriched with carbon or hardened. When a part is treated with the RVS Technology®, something else also happens than just hardening: even smallest roughnesses of the surface are removed, which leads to the friction to decrease. A friction surface of a machine part treated with the RVS Technology® is mirror-like.

Everything written above is tested and proved, but one always has to remember that in such a complicated mechanism as, for instance, an internal combustion engine or a compressor, there can be both parts that can be restored and that have to be replaced.

 

If piston rings have lost their elasticity and the compression is reduced due to that, an RVS Technology® treatment cannot help in this problem. The piston rings have to be replaced. Normally RVS Technology® takes care of the rest.

For example, if there is noise from the front wheels (in front drive vehicles) on corners (turns), one may first think about the joint of the drive axle even if the noise comes from the clearance of the secondary axle of the gearbox.
It is not always easy for a non-specialist to identify, what causes the symptomes.
Our advice is: use the excluding method. Do first what is easiest to do: treat the gearbox.
To add the RVS compound to the gearbox and to carry out the treatment procedures is not difficult at all in comparison to how difficult it is to dismount and mount the drive axle joint or the hub bearing.
In mechanisms treated with the RVS Technology®, the friction between the surfaces is significantly reduced, which in most cases is the expected result. That is why it is not always possible to treat such mechanisms with the RVS Technology® that use friction for torque transmission.

The RVS Technology® products are cheap, they can never make any harm in mechanisms and they work for a hundred percent if applied in the proper way.
