| The RVS Technology® can be applied in a large variety of mechanical equipment – you just name it! Certain advanced applications even in non-industrial objects may require special knowledge. Such treatments cannot therefore be carried out by clients themselves. Here are just some examples of the applications: |

The RVS Technology® can be used in a large variety of applications in industry. Bearings, gearings, and compressors of different kinds (if at least one of the surfaces contains iron) are the easiest objects to treat, but a person acquainted with the technology does not fear treating rails or guides of turning machines, for instance. If there is a lubrication problem caused by heat or water, the RVS Technology® can help you to solve the problem. Once the contact surfaces have been treated and the surface structure of the metal has been modified, occasional contact with water or high temperature circumstances are no longer a similar threat for the mechanism. Operation reliability is a major aim of mechanical maintenance. A breakdown of a single bearing may stop a whole production line. By using the RVS Technology®, you can improve the reliability and reduce costs related to shut-downs. Simultaneously, you can reduce energy and spare part costs as well. We sometimes say that if you claim you do not have problems with lubrication or wear, we can show them to you. One is often used to the current situation that a certain bearing must be replaced after every three months or so, and sometimes it just breaks forcing the production line to stop. Most often the reason can, however, be identified.
In commercial ships, there are lots of different motors (both internal combustion and electric), gearings, and bearings that can be easily treated. No general recommendation can, however, be given, because the equipment types vary a lot, and any treatment procedures should be carried out by professionals. By reading the a translation of a test report on the effect of the RVS Technology® on marine equipment carried out by Odessa National Maritime University, Ukraine, you find out about the prospects of using the technology in certain types of marine equipment. See the private sector boat applications as well (below).
In diesel locomotives the main engine(s) is(are) usually relatively easy to treat with the RVS Technology®. You can increase the inter-repair interval of parts exposed to friction, reduce energy consumption by 7 to 15 percent, reduce dynamic loads on shaft supports and exhaust toxicity, and, if the engine is worn, restore its effective power. As a whole, in some cases it is possible to reduce the operation costs even by 50 percent. In both diesel and electric locomotives, you can treat the driving gearboxes and the bearings related to them and the wheel axles. Read more about the practical use of the RVS Technology in locomotives in a translation of a test report carried out in Chita, Russia (the tests were made during a period of over three years, this is only a conclusion).
PRIVATE
SECTOR APPLICATIONS In passenger cars, there are plenty of mechanisms and joints that can be treated with the RVS Technology®: internal combustion engines (including 2-stroke engines), manual gearboxes, differentials, powersteering units, diesel injection pumps, air conditioners, bearings, and – quite amazingly – brake discs (for which a product is not available for ordinary users). See an example of the effect of an RVS Technology treatment on the technical condition of an fairly old and worn passenger car engine. In motorcycles, four-stroke engines can be treated practically with
the same methods as in passenger
cars, pick-ups, and vans. If the gearbox (and the clutch) are lubricated
by the same oil as the engine, special attention must be paid on using
all the gears as equally as possible during the first 1.5 to 2 hours
of operation after the RVS Technology compound has been applied in the
engine. From the RVS Technology® point of view, there is practically no difference between tractor and other engines and transmissions. However, convert the required mileage to hours (400 km ~ 8 h). Additionally, in tractors, there are usually different hydraulic systems that can also be treated with the RVS Technology®. Such treatments must be accomplished by a qualified specialist. In heavy-duty automobile transportation, in addition to engines and transmissions, hydraulic systems are used, and they can also be treated with the RVS Technology®. Such treatments must be accomplished by a qualified specialist. The treatment procedures differ depending on the boat type. In small
boats with outboard engines, the transmission including the propeller
shaft bearing can be treated. Both four-stroke
and two-stroke engines
can be treated. In bicycles, especially in bicycle racing, every single extra stamp is too much. The power loss that the RVS Technology® can reduce is caused by wheel and pedal bearings and chains. After treating the chain, one can see the result of the ferrosilicate surface structure formation with his own eyes: the colour of the chain becomes noticeably lighter. All kinds of roller bearings are easy treating objects for the RVS Technology® provided the surfaces contain iron. They can usually be treated with the RVS Technology® Professional Gel or RVS Technology® Grease. |
